I didnt sign up for Shimelle's JYC but after looking at some of the Journals anll the talented scrappers are comming up with I couldnt resist making one. So I have made a small one because I dont have time to journal every day. I have put a range of pattern paper on the inside. I was going to wait until I got this months scraproom kit which has lovely christmas paper in it but the mood took me. I just had to scrap. I was just inspired by the other christmas journals on Shimelles blog and on UKS. So keep any eye here for irregular journal updates. Ho Ho Ho

A return to scrapping!
These are my October and November entries for Shimelle's "scrap your day" This month was all about Self Portraits so I looked at the link she providedPaper View by Nancy and took a few pictures of Rayan and I, They are the small cream coloured collection in the corner. It was great to get some time an hour and a half to do some scrapping! I am trying to keep Rayan to the Baby Whisperer Schedual, it has worked so far today fingers crossed for the night time :0

Not much going on except waiting!

I got my Bad Girl Kit in the post yesterday! I love the embelishments, and the cool chirp stamp! I also got my UKS Team CJ today, its all about Flower Power so Im looking forward to completing that. I have not done any scrapping as I am busy putting the finishing touches to my baby and now Im waiting and wondering when baby will arrive and will it be a boy or girl! Shimelles Scrap Your Day is this Thursday, I still have to print and scrap last months photos, It would be good if the baby decided to arrive on the 25th this month it would make a great DLO lol but I have a feeling it is quiet comfortable where it is!
The top two pictures show my sisters sculpture in the Botanic Gardens in Dublin.

Well this is the last day of Shimelles 'My Freedom'class. I have learned a lot from this class and I enjoyed it. Im a little stuck with this page called Attitude i dont know if its ment to be a DLO or SLO, this is what I have so far, if anyone is taking the class and has any ideas let me know. I still have to do my title page. But from gatehring these supplies for this Lo, It gave me another idea for a challenge I saw on another blog so Im a happy camper. So Im going to make a cuppa for myself now and see who gets put out of the BB house tonight (wish Rex was up for eviction)

Insperation Asperation
This weeks layouts for Shimelles class, I prefered doing the Asperations lo i just found it easier, dont know why? Shimelle made us have a word count limit, so on the asperations lo there are exactly 100 words in each journalling block! Makes you cut out some of the junk!So take the challeng the next time you journalling put a word count limit of 50 (just to make it harder) on yourself! If you do leave a link to your work here!

*NFTEfirst established in the US by businessman Steve Mariotti who demonstrated that by showing young people how to make money through setting up and running their own business they could make a better future for themselves. Her friend, Mark and his fiance, Claire, have been working in Nepal with an orphanage of 25 children. They fund raised before they left here and raised enough money to build showers for the orphanage. They also have paid for fresh fruit to be delivered for a year.
*My sister Lucy also inspires me, she is a visual artist and is pursuing her dream to be true to her art! Her work will be will be exhibited in the Dublin Botanical Gardens, Sculpture in Context Exhibition Sept 4th to Oct 17th 08'Allong with some of the top sculptures in Ireland.

Shimelle's Blog Prompt 6
"Share an old photo of yourself and a current photo of yourself with your blog readers. Tell them a little something that has changed and a little that has stayed the same."
These are pictures of my cousin Catriona and I as baby's and a later one at her wedding. I suppose what has changed is we have grown up, have longer hair, we no longer need to be held for a photo and we can talk! What has stayed the same is we are still close, and we have shared several good moments together!

Shimelles blog prompt for today is
How do you prefer the pace of life? Do you wish things would speed up or slow down? Illustrate with something that has been on your mind or on your calendar or share your preference between working slowly or quickly on a crafting project.
Im a rusher, I rush things a lot. But I do like the Meditterainian way of life. I think Ihave been a bit of a workaholic, but when I stop Im a bit of a couch potatoe. So I like all kinds of paces!

Machu Picchu in Peru is one of my 'Dream Travel Locations'. The Amalfi Coast is my second dream place. Shimelle's Blog Prompt

"If you could travel in time for just one day, where would you go and what would you do?"
There were so many places I would like to go, this was a very difficult question, but from most recent times I think I would go back to my wedding day, we both had such a great time and we said if we ever winn the lotto we would do it all again!
Id also like to go back in time and see what ireland was like in the 18th century, maybe in france as the Rococo clothes were fantastic back then!
Well if I had a time machine for a day I think I would pop in and out of a few places!
