Skipping and Jumping Along

Week 13 Scrap It Like You Mean It, I have skipped a few lo, I will return to them I hope. Week 13 was to scrap with stamps so my baker boy one has a bit of stamping down the end, I also used my new Tim Holtz Mask, love these, Olive showed me how to use them so a big thanks to Olive. The second Lo is Rub a Dub Dub, I was waiting to use this paper a long time now.

Scrap Your Day 1 Year On

 

This is the last day of 'Scrap Your Day' a fantastic free class given by Shimelle on UKS. My friend Olive
suggested it would be a worthwhile project for me to take part in because my life was going to change a lot in the year. SHe cut the cover and pages for me and bound the book with her BIA, and off I went. It was a good idea and now I have a good record in photos of the year. I have one more entry to make and that will be completed after I finish taking photos today. I also want to decorate the inside of the cover with some reflection journalling.

The second one is Scrap it like you mean it week 11 (scrap with fabric) I used som felt embelishments I got in the 'scraproom kit' and the second lo is week 10 (scrap a funny face) these are more smiling faces with a cute funny story behind the story. I still have to do week 8 and 9.

This week you had to scrap an old photo. I was recently emailed this photo of my grandparents so I was waiting for an oppertunity to scrap it. I did the doodles with the baby in one arm so they are a bit wobbely lol!

What a weekend of fantastic challenges and classes from UKS and co, I really enjoyed the weekend. I thought the best ones were Ifas class, Shimelles Challenge and The Cat Among The Pigeons. Im exhausted now, scrapping and being a mammy is hard work!

I just completed December and January 'scrap your day' its turning out to be a nice album. Olive gave me one of Tim Holtz Masks and I tried using it yesterday, I enjoyed it just wish I had a little more time to play with it, I only get to play during nap time which never lasts long! I might use this piece for 'scrap it like you mean it'week 4.
